What Is JRT Volleyball Academy

JRT Volleyball Academy is a high-performance volleyball development institution based in Singapore, founded in 2006 by Jerry Teo.

Originally established as JRT Sport Services, the academy evolved in response to sustained growth, coaching depth, and increasing demand for a structured, professional volleyball development pathway. This led to the formation of JRT Volleyball Academy Private Limited, with a clear mandate: To develop athletes through systematic coaching, not casual participation.

Today, JRT operates as a development system, not a recreational sports centre.

Each level has defined technical expectations and coach-led assessment gates to ensure development integrity.

JRT Volleyball Academy is founded and technically led by Jerry Teo, an internationally accredited volleyball coach with over 20 years of coaching experience.

The academy operates with:

• Professionally certified coaches (FIVB and/or SG-Coach accredited)

• Planned coach deployment to maintain appropriate coach-to-athlete ratios

We hold high standards in training delivery across all age groups, with quality and inclusion as non-negotiables.
